Game Night!

Bata Tests
We have scheduled three evenings for test-runs of Game Night! We’re inviting brave souls, game players, early adopters, and desperate housewives (sorry, couldn’t resist that one!) to join us to have fun, learn, and provide feedback. The only cost is the feedback! We will welcome couples to take part in one of the following evening beta-tests of the game:

• Saturday, July 17, 2021 | 7-10 pm PT (We had SO much fun!!!)

• Saturday, August 14, 2021 | 5-8 pm PT (Wait List: we’ll let you know if a space opens)

• Saturday, August 21, 2021 | 7-10 pm PT (Only 2 spots remaining!)

Most couple counseling (in our view, as we are not therapists) dooms us to not only view couple life as problems, but also to believe that the only way to solve these problems is through painful conversations and furthermore, that improving relationships rests on learning to better communicate (with a person so different than we are) that we are often as a loss.

What would it be like if:

• Passion in your relationship could be cultivated and sustained?

• We could learn to view our partner for their strengths and the polarity they bring to us?

• You could thrive in your marriage instead of just getting by?

AND what if the key to that would be to PLAY TOGETHER?

Game Night! is a new platform for couples to increase relationship happiness. Gaming technology is to make it fun, appealing, facilitate learning, and “loosen” patterns that have solidified over the years and plague couple’s abilities to explore new territories together.

We are going to explore 6 critical territories in a couple’s life:

• Connection & Rapport

• Lifestyle & Obligations

• Masculine & Feminine

• Sex & Intimacy

• Reactivity & Repair

• Autonomy & Attachment

At every step of the game, couples are invited to re-learn to play, to re-gain strength in their ability to solve challenges together, to re-boot their drive to see the best in each other, and to re-commit to eradicating the complacency of accepting what is.

We also introduce our special brew of relationship toolkit (sorry, you will have to sign up to get the scoop!) to learn to better navigate the inevitable rough spots in a couple’s live.

The game board is set in a maritime environment (trust you get the hint of learning to navigate your boat together!) that is collaborative and evolving. Of course, the game brings the necessary challenges and villains (like storms and pirates and mermaids) to create the necessary play atmosphere!
